Swimming centres offer a whole range of community benefits. No matter the scale of the facility, they can act as a social hub to the community.
Recreation SA is looking to take stills and videos of your facilities to be included in the Statewide Pool Audit Master Plan project and for Recreation SA’s photo library. Our photographer will have release forms available for those photographed.
If you provide programs for, or host any of the following user groups, please contact Recreation SA and advise which areas and what days you may be able to assist with:
Programs/ users: learn to swim, aqua fitness, yoga, school holiday program, elderly, people with a disability, rehabilitation, CALD, DECD, sporting clubs, birthday parties, special events,
Employees/ volunteers: diversity across all positions: customer service, first aid, lifeguarding, instructing, plant room operations, management, mentoring Facilities: metro, regional, indoor, outdoor, all varying shapes and sizes of pools.
We are particularly interested in building our library of CALD, multicultural, Indigenous, elderly, diversity, to ensure Recreation SA accurately reflects the community who access swimming pools as a patron or employee.
