Yoga Across the Ages
This practical workshop will give you the opportunity to experience a mindful fitness session where we bring unity between the physical body & mind.
You will learn basic yoga postures & be introduced to how you can incorporate them into group &/or personal training sessions with an emphasis on alignment, centering, mindful approach & the connection to breath. This style is appropriate for all ages & all abilities & you will be guided through postures which will enhance overall strength, balance & flexibility.
Take away with you a number of tools on how to guide your clients through a mindful fitness experience.
Paula was introduced to yoga over 20 years ago while training as a professional dancer. Throughout the last 19 years working in the fitness industry as a group fitness instructor & personal trainer Paula has taught a variety of programs that have a strong connection with yoga, movement, pilates & mindfulness. In the last 5 years her passion has taken her deeper into the practice of yoga & incorporates yoga into everyday life through a daily practice of asana, pranayama & meditation. Taking what is learnt on the mat into everyday life.
Paula is committed to sharing what she has learnt through yoga & how this can enhance our lives on many levels both physically & mentally. Yoga can enhance our lives in how we approach everyday situations & can also provide stability for athletes of all levels. Paula is currently the yoga & mindfulness coach for the Adelaide Football club, The South Australian cricket Assoc. & the Adelaide Thunderbirds.
