Are you a female sports manager or volunteer aspiring to a leadership role on a State or National board?

The Australian Womensport and Recreation Association (AWRA) is seeking applications for this year's E-Mentoring Program, which is designed to assist women to make the next step in their career and develop career-life goals.

AWRA provide leadership and a voice for women and girls in sport, physical activity and active recreation.

Through advocacy and leadership, AWRA aims to change attitudes and improve opportunities for females in sport and physical activity.

Over the past three years, AWRA’s Mentoring Program has provided opportunities for over 100 women to form mentoring partnerships with female and male senior sport leaders.

The program was a finalist in a 2015 national leadership award for Sustaining Women's Empowerment in Communities and Organisations (SWECO).

Successful candidates will be eligible to receive a grant from the Australian Sports Commission’s Women Leaders in Sport Grant Program to help cover part of the cost of the program.

Julie Sarll, former President of Gymnastics Victoria and former CEO of VicSport is Program Manager for the fourth year running. AWRA Board member, Julie Anderson, CEO of Big V Basketball, is assisting with program content and administration.
